Mute

Mute is a short thriller that follows a character investigating a drug called 'Opia' that affects the eyes of the user. While researching, you stumble across a website that unleashes a virus onto your computer that leaves strange found footage about a girl that has been missing.

**Skip to end feature** 

If you would like to skip to the end and view the climax cutscene, or are having too much trouble, you may use 'Code Breaker' in the 'start' menu that is always available in the game to fast-track and gain access to 'Mute' and complete the game.

- Known bugs - **PLEASE READ**

Here is a list of bugs that are currently present + workarounds that will help you to complete the game.

- Virus videos cannot be removed by pressing 'x', you must used the Anti-virus software to remove them.

- Files opened in the File Explorer cannot be closed using 'x'. If they get in your way, you can bring tabs you would like to look at forward (to the very front) by clicking on them. **This means multiple files will start piling up, please oversight this and continue playing** 

- Password input field (in the 'Loveface' login tab of the 'Internet Explorer') may disappear at times. If you cannot input the password, please restart the game and enter the password again.

Other Tips

View Secret Cassette + login password

To view the special Cassette Tape and access the login password, you must view all the footage in the Downloads folder to trigger the event.

Trigger Climax Cutscene

Once gaining access to 'Mute', to trigger the climax cutscene, you must toggle each website category and scroll to the very bottom of each page. The cutscene will start suddenly and may jump-scare you.
